Z-Gly-Pro-AMC is a fluorogenic substrate for the determination of post-proline cleaving enzyme (prolyl endopeptidase). This substrate is hydrolyzed by prolyl endopeptidase to generate highly fluorescent 7-amido-4-methylcoumarin (AMC).
