5'-Labeled primer pairs include a fluorescently labeled oligo with a choice of dye on the 5' end, along with an unlabeled oligo, in each pair. These products can be used in a variety of molecular biological applications. 6-NED is one of the colors used for making the well-known multicolor fluorescent oligo set of 6-FAM, 6-TET, 6-VIC, 6-HEX, 6-NED and 6-PET for use in fragment analysis, gene expression studies, genotyping, and PCR applications. 6 -NED SE is reasonably stable fluorescent probe that is widely used in labeling amino-modified oligos.
