6-dR6G (6-Carboxy-4,7-dichlororhodamine 6G) is one of the four critical 4,7-dichloro-rhodamine dyes used as the BigDye terminators for DNA sequencing in combination with dR110, dTMR and dROX. ABI PRISM® BigDye™ Terminator Cycle Sequencing is the classic method for DNA sequencing.
