APC-CD Antibody Conjugates
APC (Allophycocyanin) antibody conjugates are essential reagents for flow cytometry and immunofluorescence applications, offering bright far-red fluorescence with excitation at 633-647 nm and emission around 660 nm. AAT Bioquest provides a comprehensive selection of APC and APC tandem dye conjugated CD antibodies for immunophenotyping, cell surface marker analysis, and multicolor flow cytometry panels. These conjugates are optimized for compatibility with common laser configurations and can be combined with other fluorophores for sophisticated multiparameter analysis.

APC and APC Tandem Conjugated CD Antibodies

APC (Allophycocyanin) is a phycobiliprotein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae that provides exceptional brightness in the far-red spectrum. With excitation at 633-647 nm (red laser) and emission at approximately 660 nm, APC conjugates are ideal for multicolor flow cytometry panels where spectral separation from PE and FITC channels is required. APC is among the brightest single fluorophores used in flow cytometry, providing strong far-red signals when excited by standard red lasers.
  • Exceptional brightness - High extinction coefficient and quantum yield for superior signal detection
  • Red laser compatible - Optimal excitation at 633-647 nm, standard on most flow cytometers
  • Minimal spectral overlap - Far-red emission (660 nm) allows clean separation from PE, FITC, and other common fluorophores
  • Ideal for multicolor panels - Pairs well with APC tandems (APC-Cy7, APC-iFluor® 700) for expanded far-red detection
  • Low background - Reduced cellular autofluorescence in the far-red spectrum improves signal-to-noise ratio
Building Multicolor Flow Cytometry Panels

For comprehensive immunophenotyping experiments, APC-CD antibody conjugates can be combined with other fluorophore-conjugated antibodies to create multicolor panels. AAT Bioquest offers APC tandem dyes that expand the far-red detection options available from a single red laser.
  • APC tandems available - APC-Cy7 and other tandems for additional far-red channels
  • Optimized for panel design - Consistent lot-to-lot performance for reproducible results
  • ReadiUse format available - Pre-optimized, ready-to-use formulations for convenience
