5-Aminoallyl-dU Phosphoramidite [5-Aminoallyl-dU CEP]
Product key features
- A robust building block for preparing amino-modified oligonucleotides
- Mild coupling conditions
- Readily deprotected
Product description
5-Aminoallyl-dU is a uridine-based amino-modifier phosphoramidite. It is an excellent building block used for the synthesis of amine-modified oligonucleotides and DNAs. Placing the amino group farther from the ribose may be advantageous in post-synthetic reactions. Coupling is accomplished using normal dilution and protocols for oligonucleotides. It is an extremely robust method to introduce an amino group into oligonucleotides or DNAs that can be readily conjugated to a tag (such as a fluorescent dye, an enzyme or other biological tags) used in a variety of biological detections.
