Actin Lightning™ LC Red
Cell-Permeable
Actin Lightning™ LC Red is a live-cell compatible fluorescent probe designed for direct staining and visualization of filamentous actin (F-actin) in living cells.
  • Live-cell compatible: Enables direct visualization of actin filaments in living cells without fixation
  • Efflux pump independent: Does not require efflux inhibitors such as probenecid or verapamil during staining
  • Fixable staining: Fluorescent labeling is retained after chemical fixation for downstream multiplex workflows
  • Multipurpose use: Suitable for monitoring cytoskeletal organization, cell morphology, and actin dynamics in fluorescence microscopy
Super-resolution fluorescence image of live HeLa cells stained with Actin Lightning™ LC Red and MitoLite™ Green FM. Live HeLa cells were labeled with Actin Lightning™ LC Red (Cat. #22705) for F-actin staining and MitoLite™ Green FM (Cat. #22695) for mitochondrial staining. Images were acquired on the CSR Biotech MI-SIM microscopy system and reconstructed using 3D-SIM Wiener reconstruction. The merged image shows F-actin in magenta and mitochondria in green.
