About
HRE-Luciferase Plasmid
HRE-Luciferase Plasmid is a reporter plasmid containing hypoxia response elements (HREs) upstream of a luciferase gene that enables measurement of hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)-dependent transcriptional activity in cells.
  • Hypoxia response element reporter: Contains HRE sequences positioned upstream of a promoter controlling luciferase expression
  • HIF-dependent transcription readout: Luciferase expression increases when HIF transcription factors bind HREs under hypoxic conditions
  • Bioluminescent detection: Luciferase activity can be quantified using luciferin-based luminescence assays
  • Multipurpose use: Suitable for studying hypoxia signaling and evaluating cellular responses to reduced oxygen availability
