About
mFluor™ UV595 SE

mFluor™ UV595 SE is a UV-excitable amine-reactive fluorescent dye developed for multicolor flow cytometry applications. Like other members of the mFluor™ dye series, it features a large Stokes shift and is optimized for efficient excitation by UV laser lines around 350 nm. This makes it especially useful in panels where minimizing spectral overlap is critical for high-parameter flow cytometry. mFluor™ UV595 SE has fluorescence excitation and emission maxima of ~350 nm and ~595 nm, respectively, offering a unique far-red shifted emission from a UV-excitable dye. The dye is reasonably stable and reacts efficiently with protein amino groups, allowing for consistent labeling of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies or other proteins (>10 kDa). Its distinct spectral profile expands the available color space in flow cytometric analyses using UV lasers.

(Top) Full emission spectrum of mFluor™ UV595 was acquired using a 4-laser spectral flow cytometer equipped with spatially separated 355 nm, 405 nm, 488 nm, and 640 nm lasers. Each laser excitation produced a distinct emission profile, which together define the spectral signature of mFluor™ UV595.
(Bottom) Flow cytometry analysis of human whole blood stained with CD4-mFluor™ UV595 conjugate. Fluorescence signal was detected in the UV10-A channel using an Aurora spectral cytometer.
