N-Methoxysuccinyl-AAPV-AMC

N-Methoxysuccinyl-Ala-Ala-Pro-Val-7-amido-4-methylcoumarin has been used as a fluorogenic substrate in determining the elastase activity from bone marrow lysates and pancreatic lysates. It is also used for detecting the neutrophil elastase in bronchial epithelial cells. The protease activity is measured by fluorescence spectrophotometry with excitation wavelength at ~370 nm and emission wavelength at ~460 nm.
