Overview

TAQuest™ FAST qPCR Master Mix for TaqMan Probes is a ready-to-use 2X solution optimized for real-time PCR and 2-step RT-qPCR using probe-based detection. The master mix contains TAQuest™ FAST Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, an optimized PCR buffer, and high ROX reference dye. Template, primers, and probes are added separately to prepare the desired qPCR reactions.

TAQuest™ FAST qPCR Master Mix for TaqMan Probes is compatible with FAST cycling conditions and supports completion of 40 PCR cycles in approximately 50 minutes using a 20 µL reaction volume. The TAQuest™ FAST Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase is designed to support specific and sensitive amplification by reducing non-specific product formation during reaction setup. The formulation is also designed for duplex reactions using internal positive controls and supports amplification from genomic DNA, plasmid DNA, viral templates, and cDNA. TAQuest™ FAST qPCR Master Mix for TaqMan Probes (High ROX) is suitable for TaqMan gene expression assays, probe-based qPCR, duplex qPCR, and 2-step RT-qPCR applications.
