Overview

TAQuest™ FAST qPCR Master Mix with Helixyte™ Green is a ready-to-use 2X solution optimized for real-time PCR and 2-step RT-qPCR. The master mix contains an optimized buffer system, dNTPs, Helixyte™ Green intercalating dye, low ROX reference dye, and TAQuest™ FAST Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase. Only template and target-specific primers are required to prepare the desired PCR reactions.

The proprietary TAQuest™ FAST Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase is designed to provide instant hot start activity, helping minimize non-specific product formation while allowing room-temperature reaction setup. The master mix supports fast qPCR cycling, delivering results within approximately 50 minutes for 40 cycles in a 20 µL reaction volume. Helixyte™ Green enables rapid DNA detection and analysis without the need for sequence-specific probes. TAQuest™ FAST qPCR Master Mix with Helixyte™ Green (Low ROX) is suitable for qPCR and 2-step RT-qPCR analysis of genomic DNA, plasmid DNA, viral templates, and cDNA samples.
