What methods are best for stimulating intracellular calcium release?

Answer
Ionophores A231187 or ionomycin can be used to stimulate intracellular calcium release. Thapsigargin (TG) and cyclopiazonic acid (CPA), which are both SERCA pump inhibitors, can be used to increase calcium levels as well.
