How are polymeric micelles different from traditional micelles?

Answer
Polymeric micelles (PM) differ from traditional micelles in several key ways:
- PMs are typically spherical and larger in size with a diameter of 10–100 nm.
- PMs have a lower critical micelle concentration (CMC), however, they exist in equilibrium with isolated macromolecules.
- PMs exhibit enhanced thermodynamic and kinetic stability compared to traditional micelles.
