What are the end products of aerobic respiration?

Posted February 8, 2024

Answer

The three end products of aerobic respiration are carbon dioxide, water, and energy.

Aerobic respiration occurs only in the presence of oxygen. In this process, energy is produced in the form of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is the main energy currency of the cell and the desired product of aerobic respiration.

Carbon dioxide and water are considered waste products of the process and are expelled from the body.
