Answer

Aerobic respiration is a type of cellular respiration that takes place only in the presence of oxygen. It utilizes oxygen to convert food glucose and other organic molecules into energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Water and carbon dioxide are produced as end products in this process.
