CD34 is an important marker for hematopoietic stem cells (HSPCs), endothelial cells, and muscle satellite cells that give rise to mature skeletal muscle cells. CD34 is commonly used for the identification and isolation of HSPCs for use in clinical applications, particularly bone marrow transplantation.
