When does negative feedback inhibition occur?

Posted April 4, 2024

Answer

Negative feedback inhibition occurs when the product of a biological reaction halts the continuation of that reaction. For instance, when enough product is generated, the cell needs to halt its production. Negative feedback inhibition serves as a means for the cell to prevent excess product formation.
