Cocaine (Also known as: Kokain, Neurocaine, L-Cocaine) appears as colorless to white crystals or white powder. It is a tropane alkaloid obtained from leaves of the South American shrub Erythroxylon coca. Cocaine is a tropane alkaloid with central nervous systems (CNS) stimulating and local anesthetic activity. It can be absorbed through mucus membranes and eyes.
