The ideal gas law assumes that gas particles are in constant random motion. They have negligible volume and do not interact with each other. The ideal gas law can be used to calculate various properties of gases, such as their pressure, volume, temperature, and amount of substance, as long as at least three of these variables are known. It is commonly used to analyze and predict the behavior of gases in various systems.
| pressure of gas (Pa): | |
| volume of gas (m): | |
| amount of substance (mol): | |
| temperature of gas (K): |
