Protein Extraction

ReadiPrep™ extraction kits provide optimized reagents for isolating specific protein classes from cells and tissues. These kits are designed for efficient extraction while maintaining protein integrity for downstream applications including Western blotting, mass spectrometry, and enzymatic assays.
Key Features
  • Histone Extraction Kit – isolates core histones with high purity for epigenetics research
  • Plasma Membrane Protein Extraction Kit – selectively enriches membrane proteins while reducing cytosolic contamination
  • Tissue Protein Extraction Buffer – efficiently solubilizes proteins from mammalian tissues

Protein Purification

His-Tag Proteins
ReadiPrep™ purification resins and magnetic beads provide efficient capture of polyhistidine-tagged recombinant proteins through immobilized metal affinity chromatography (IMAC). The Ni-NTA magnetic beads enable rapid small-scale purification without centrifugation, while the Ni Agarose Fast Flow resin is optimized for gravity-flow or column-based purification with high binding capacity.
Key Features
  • High binding capacity – efficient His-tagged protein recovery
  • Magnetic bead format – enables quick purification without centrifugation equipment
  • Agarose fast flow resin – provides reproducible results with minimal non-specific binding
  • Scalable – from analytical to preparative purification volumes

Immunoglobulin G (IgG)
ReadiPrep™ Protein A and Protein G agarose resins enable efficient purification of immunoglobulins from serum, ascites, and cell culture supernatants. Protein A and Protein G bind to the Fc region of IgG antibodies with different species and subclass specificities, allowing selection of the optimal resin for your target antibody.
Biotinylated Proteins
A popular protein modification is the covalent attachment of biotin, which can be specifically targeted through the biotin-streptavidin interaction. Biotinylated proteins can be captured and purified using streptavidin-coated magnetic beads.
Sample Cleanup

ReadiUse™ sample preparation tools streamline protein purification workflows by providing efficient buffer exchange, desalting, concentration, and deproteinization. These accessories are essential for removing interfering substances and preparing samples for downstream analysis.
Key Features
  • PD-10 Desalting Columns – use Sephadex G-25 resin for rapid removal of salts, dyes, and small molecules
  • PD-10 Spin Adapter – converts gravity-flow columns to centrifugation format for higher throughput
  • 10KD Spin Filter – concentrates proteins while removing small molecule contaminants
