FMOC-Lys(QSY-7)-OH is a building block for in-sequence Lys labeling by QSY-7. QSY-7 is a quencher that can be used to develop a FRET probe with Cy3, Alexa Fluor 555, iFluor 555, DyLight 555, ATTO 550, ATTO 565 or other fluorescent dyes that have the similar fluorescence spectra (to Cy3) such asTF3 dyes.

Common stock solution preparation

Table 1. Volume of DMF needed to reconstitute specific mass of FMOC-Lys(QSY-7)-OH to given concentration. Note that volume is only for preparing stock solution. Refer to sample experimental protocol for appropriate experimental/physiological buffers.
