What elutes first in affinity chromatography?

Posted December 15, 2021

Answer

Affinity chromatography is a technique used for extracting protein or protein complexes from a biochemical mixture. It is based on the macromolecular binding interaction between the protein of interest and an elution buffer. Proteins with the least affinity with the elution buffer elute first.
