Will reducing agents such as Trolox, DTT and TCEP cause any interference when using your fluorimetric total NAD and NADH assay (Cat# 15257)?

Answer

Trolox is compatible with this assay when the concentration is lower than 1 mM.

DTT and TCEP will interfere with this assay resulting in an increase in background interference. Therefore, avoid using DTT and TCEP with Cat# 15257.
