How do I dissolve a FITC-dextran?

Answer
FITC-dextran is supplied as an orange or yellow colored powder. You can dissolve FITC-dextran in water or salt solutions, or you can dissolve the powder in polar organic solvents such as ethanol, DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide), or DMF (Dimethylformamide).
