What are the similarities between humoral immunity and cell-dedicated immunity?

Posted November 7, 2023

Answer

Humoral immunity and cell-dedicated immunity are both types of adaptive immune response that are active against a variety of pathogens. Both possess immunological memories and produce a specific immune response to particular pathogens.

Both, humoral and cell-dedicated immunity, are ineffective in individuals who are immune-deficient and both grow graft rejection in heart, liver, and kidney transplants.
