Intracellular and extracellular enzymes are biomolecules found in living organisms. Both are protein molecules comprised of chains of amino acids and found in prokaryotes and eukaryotes. Both are types of digestive enzymes that have important functions in the cell. Their main responsibility is digestion of food particles.
