What are the similarities between lymphocytes and macrophages?

Answer

Lymphocytes and macrophages are two different types of white blood cells. Both play vital roles in human immune response and both are vital for the survival of humans. Lymphocytes and macrophages both originate from hematopoietic stem cells in bone marrow and abnormal levels of both types of cells are linked to various diseases.
