What are the similarities between virus and virion?

Answer

Virus and virion are both microscopic, non-cellular, self-replicating parasites that are dependent on the host. Both structures are covered with a protein coat and contain RNA or DNA as their genetic material. Virus and virion both exhibit minimum metabolic activity and both are infectious.
