Posted April 12, 2024

Answer

A genotype refers to the genetic makeup of an organism, specifically the combination of alleles (variant forms of genes) present in its DNA. Specifically, a genotype represents the genetic variant found at a particular location, known as a locus, within an organism's genome. Genotypes determine the traits and characteristics of an organism.
