What is the difference between Firefly and Renilla Luciferase?

Answer
Firefly luciferase assay uses luciferin in the presence of oxygen, ATP and magnesium to produce Green/Yellow light of 550-70 nm. Renilla luciferase assay requires only coelenterazine and oxygen to produce Blue light of 480 nm.
