What is the principle of hybridization?

Posted April 26, 2024

Answer

In hybridization, a specific single-stranded DNA or RNA molecule binds to a complementary sequence found in another DNA or RNA molecule. The stability of this binding, known as the hybrid, relies on the degree of complementary base pairing between the probe and the target sequences.
