Answer

Explant culture is a method utilized to establish diverse cell lines from various organisms such as mammals, birds and rodents. This technique has applications in multiple fields such as: stem cell extraction, genetic engineering, drug screening, vaccine development, toxicology testing, and cancer studies. Additionally, explant culture has been shown to be an ideal approach for investigating organ development since it allows direct observation of structural changes over time, termed morphogenesis.
