Where are the G1 checkpoints located?

Answer
The G1 checkpoint is located at the end of G1 phase, preceding the transition to S phase. If cells are unable to pass the G1 checkpoint, they may exit the cell cycle and enter the G0 state where they may later re-enter G1.
