Are coumarin dyes pH sensitive?

Coumarin dyes such as AMCA and 7-aminocoumarin are both insensitive to pH. However, there are some coumarin derivatives that show varying fluorescent colors in acidic and alkaline environments; the fluorescence changed from blue to yellow-green when the pH of the solution changed from acidic to alkaline.
