Oligonucleotide Building Blocks
AAT Bioquest provides specialized reagents for oligonucleotide synthesis and modification, including fluorescent dyes, dark quenchers, and functional group modifiers compatible with standard phosphoramidite chemistry. These building blocks enable creation of labeled probes for qPCR, FISH, molecular beacons, and hybridization assays.
Our Oligonucleotide Technologies

Tide Fluor™ — Bright, photostable fluorophores optimized for FRET and qPCR applications
Tide Quencher™ — True dark quenchers (TQ1-TQ5) with no background fluorescence
CPG Reagents

Controlled pore glass (CPG) reagents are solid supports for 3'-end labeling during oligonucleotide synthesis.
  • Dye-labeled CPGs for 3' fluorescent oligonucleotides
  • Quencher CPGs for TaqMan and molecular beacon 3' ends
  • Biotin and amine CPGs for post-synthetic modification
  • Compatible with standard DNA/RNA synthesizers
  • Multiple linker lengths for optimal dye performance
Phosphoramidites

Dye and quencher phosphoramidites enable 5'-end and internal labeling of oligonucleotides.
  • Tide Fluor™ phosphoramidites for bright 5' labels
  • Tide Quencher™ phosphoramidites for qPCR probes
  • Biotin and thiol modifier phosphoramidites
  • Click chemistry (azide/alkyne) phosphoramidites
  • Compatible with automated oligonucleotide synthesis
