APC Anti-cow/ human CD46 Antibody
MEM-258
MEM-258 is an anti-cow/ human monoclonal antibody that targets the CD46 antigen. CD46 (alternatively called Membrane Cofactor Protein) is a 45 - 75 kD transmembrane protein that is expressed on the surface of cells like platelets, macrophages, granulocytes and B cells. CD46 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, namely, CD29, SCR2/3/4 and CD9. CD46 is a fairly uncommon antibody target, with a little more than 3600 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD46 is vital to cell biology, complement and immunology research, frequently serving as a phenotypic marker for differentiating cell types in flow cytometric applications. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to APC (ex/em = 651/660 nm). It is compatible with the 642 nm laser and 702/85 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Luminex Amnis FlowSight).
