APC Anti-human CD193 Antibody

The 5E8 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD193, a transmembrane protein typically found on the surface of mononuclear phagocytes and platelets. CD193 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, for instance, RANTES(CCL5) and MCP-3 (CCL7). CD193 is a relatively rare antibody target, with fewer than 5 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD193 is often used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, specifically in the study of immunology. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to APC (ex/em = 651/660 nm). It is compatible with the 642 nm laser and 702/87 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Luminex Amnis CellStream).
