APC Anti-non-human primates/ human CD48 Antibody
MEM-102
MEM-102 is an anti-non-human primates/ human monoclonal antibody that targets the CD48 antigen. CD48 (sometimes referred to as Blast-1) is a 40 - 47 kD member of the CD2 family that is expressed on the surface of cells like T cells and dendritic cells. CD48 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, for instance, CD229, fyn, CD244 and CD2. CD48 is a fairly uncommon antibody target, with a little more than 2800 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD48 is commonly used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, particularly in the study of immunology. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to APC (ex/em = 651/660 nm). It is compatible with the 642 nm laser and 664/20 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Luminex Guava easyCyte).
