Ascites Mouse Anti-rat PLSCR1 Antibody
TEC-23; 13A6 , monoclonal
Phospholipid scramblase 1 (also known as Erythrocyte phospholipid scramblase, MmTRA1b or Ca(2+)-dependent phospholipid scramblase 1) is a transmembrane protein with a molecular weight of 35 kDa, located in the cytosol, nucleolus and collagen-containing extracellular matrix of cells. In Homo sapiens, phospholipid scramblase 1 is the subject of extensive research due to the fact that it acts in the regulation of Fc receptor mediated stimulatory signaling pathway. Phospholipid scramblase 1 plays an important role in mast cell activation. Phospholipid scramblase 1 aids in organismal processes, for instance, response to interferon-β, defense response to virus and apoptotic process. It binds with epidermal growth factor receptor, calcium ion and S-palmitoyl cysteine. Sequencing of phospholipid scramblase 1 has shown it contains 2 types of conserved structural units: cytoplasmic and extracellular domain. Phospholipid scramblase 1 has been associated with critical functions such as phospholipid scramblase activity.
