About
FITC Anti-human CD253 Antibody
2E5
2E5 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that recognizes the CD253 antigen. CD253 (sometimes called Apo-2L, TRAIL or TNFSF10) is a 30 kD member of the TNF ligand superfamily that is expressed on the surface of cells such as B cells and macrophages. CD253 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, for example, apo2. CD253 is a relatively rare antibody target, with fewer than 100 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD253 is essential for immunology research, frequently serving as a phenotypic marker for differentiating cell types in flow cytometric applications. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to FITC (ex/em = 491/516 nm). It is compatible with the 488 nm laser and 533/30 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the BD FACSCanto™).
