About
iFluor® 488 Anti-mouse CD26 Antibody
H194-112
H194-112 is an anti-mouse monoclonal antibody that recognizes the CD26 antigen. CD26 (also known as DPP IV ectoenzyme, ADA-binding protein or ADCP2) is a 110 kD glycoprotein that is located on the surface of cells such as macrophages and NK cells. In some organisms, CD26 is an enhancer of cell population proliferation and plays a role in the downregulation of extracellular matrix disassembly, and is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, namely, CD45, collagen and adenosine deaminase. CD26 is a fairly uncommon antibody target, with a little more than 3500 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD26 is frequently used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, particularly in the study of immunology. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to iFluor® 488 (ex/em = 491/516 nm). It is compatible with the 488 nm laser and 512/18 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Luminex Guava easyCyte).
