About
iFluor® 647 Anti-human/monkey CD154 Antibody
5C8
5C8 is an anti-human/monkey monoclonal antibody that forms an immune complex with the CD154 antigen. CD154 (also known as gp39) is a 32 - 39 kD member of the TNF superfamily that is expressed on the surface of cells such as T cells. CD154 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, for instance, CD40. CD154 is a fairly uncommon antibody target, with a little more than 4000 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD154 is typically used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, particularly in the study of immunology and costimulatory molecules. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to iFluor® 647 (ex/em = 656/670 nm). It is compatible with the 640 nm laser and 667/30 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Agilent Technologies NovoCyte Advanteon).
