mFluor™ Violet 500 Anti-human CD56 Antibody
My31
My31 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that is specific for the CD56 antigen. CD56 (sometimes referred to as NCAM1, NKH1 or Leu-19) is a single-pass type I membrane protein that is found on the surface of cells like NK cells and T cells. CD56 is a component of key cellular pathways, namely, the interferon-gamma-mediated signaling pathway and regulation of semaphorin-plexin signaling pathway. Also, it has been closely linked to key biological processes like axon guidance, particularly commissural neuron axon guidance. From a research standpoint, it is of biological interest due to its association with key macromolecules/ligands such as NCAM-1. CD56 is a moderately popular antibody target, with over 18000 publications in the last decade. CD56 is frequently used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, particularly in the study of . This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to mFluor™ Violet 500 (ex/em = 410/501 nm). It is compatible with the 405 nm laser and 525/50 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the BD FACSAria™ Fusion).
