PE/Cy5 Anti-human CD243 Antibody
UIC2
The UIC2 monoclonal antibody recognizes human CD243, a 170 kD member of the Member of ABC transporter family typically located on the surface of hematopoietic stem cells, T cells, natural killer cells and B cells. In some organisms, CD243 is involved in the positive regulation of anion channel activity, and is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands. CD243 is a relatively rare antibody target, with fewer than 100 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD243 is frequently used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, specifically in the study of immunology, cancer biomarkers and cell biology. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to PE/Cy5 (ex/em = 565/666 nm). It is compatible with the 561 nm laser and 670/30 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the BD LSRFortessa™ X-20).
