PE/Cy5 Anti-human CD50 Antibody
MEM-04
MEM-04 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that targets the CD50 antigen. CD50 (alternatively called ICAM-3) is a 130 kD member of the Ig superfamily that is located on the surface of cells like macrophages. CD50 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, in particular, integrin αd/β2 and LFA-1. CD50 is a relatively rare antibody target, with fewer than 300 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD50 is typically used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, particularly in the study of costimulatory molecules and cell biology. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to PE/Cy5 (ex/em = 565/666 nm). It is compatible with the 561 nm laser and 660/20 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Agilent Technologies NovoCyte).
