About
PE/iFluor® 594 Anti-human CD140b Antibody
18A2
18A2 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that recognizes the CD140b antigen. CD140b (also known as PDGFRb) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is expressed on the surface of cells like endothelial cells. CD140b is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, namely, PDGF. CD140b is a relatively rare antibody target, with fewer than 400 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD140b is often used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, especially in the study of neuroscience cell markers. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to PE/iFluor® 594 (ex/em = 566/606 nm). It is compatible with the 561 nm laser and 610/20 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the BD FACSAria™ Fusion).
