About
PE/iFluor® 594 Anti-human CD169 Antibody
7-239
7-239 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that is specific for the CD169 antigen. CD169 (also known as Sialoadhesin) is a glycoprotein that is expressed on the surface of cells such as dendritic cells and macrophages. CD169 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, namely, 3-sialylated ligands, α2 and CD227. CD169 is a fairly uncommon antibody target, with a little more than 1900 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD169 is frequently used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, particularly in the study of cell biology and immunology. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to PE/iFluor® 594 (ex/em = 566/606 nm). It is compatible with the 561 nm laser and 615/20 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Miltenyi Biotec MACSQuant VYB).
