PE Rat Anti-mouse LPAM-1 Antibody
DATK32, monoclonal
Integrin β-7 is a transmembrane protein with a molecular weight of 101 kDa, expressed in the focal adhesion, integrin complex and plasma membrane of cells. In humans, integrin β-7 is thought to be essential to immune response. It reacts with integrin, metal ion and cell adhesion molecule. It is the subject of extensive research due to the fact that it is a member of the integrin-mediated signaling pathway. It has been closely linked to essential functions such as virus receptor and signaling receptor activity. Sequencing of Integrin β-7 has exemplified it contains 3 conserved structural units: VWFA, extracellular and cytoplasmic domain. It aids in organismal processes, namely, cell migration, T cell migration and extracellular matrix organization.
