About
PE/XFD610 Anti-human CD122 Antibody
TU27
TU27 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that is specific for the CD122 antigen. CD122 (sometimes referred to as IL2Rβ) is a 70 - 75 kD glycoprotein that is expressed on the surface of cells such as NK cells, T cells, macrophages and B cells. CD122 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, for instance, CD25, jak1, lck and IL-15. CD122 is a fairly uncommon antibody target, with a little more than 2500 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD122 is frequently used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, especially in the study of neuroscience. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to PE/XFD610 (ex/em = 567/627 nm). XFD610 is manufactured by AAT Bioquest, and it has a chemical structure similar to that of Alexa Fluor® 610 (Alexa Fluor® is the trademark of Thermo Fisher). It is compatible with the 561 nm laser and 610/20 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the BD FACSJazz™).
