PE/XFD700 Anti-human CD49 Antibody
ASC-1
ASC-1 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that targets the CD49c antigen. CD49c (sometimes called ITGA3) is a 150 kD member of the integrin family that is expressed on the surface of cells like B cells, T cells and epithelial cells. CD49 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, for instance, laminin, CD9 and collagen. CD49 is a relatively rare antibody target, with fewer than 600 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD49c has a variety of applications in neuroscience and immunology research, commonly serving as a phenotypic marker for differentiating cell types in flow cytometric applications. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to PE/XFD700 (ex/em = 566/721 nm). XFD700 is manufactured by AAT Bioquest, and it has a chemical structure similar to that of Alexa Fluor® 700 (Alexa Fluor® is the trademark of Thermo Fisher). It is compatible with the 561 nm laser and 702/85 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the Luminex Amnis FlowSight).
